Intimate Dating: Intimacy in Public

April 12th, 2008

Intimacy is a close, affectionate, loving, personal relationship with another person. It is easy to be intimate when you are alone together. However, appropriate intimate dating in public proves to be a little trickier. These tips suggest subtle ways to increase intimacy with her, in public.

Intimate Dating Tip #1
Whisper a Secret

Whispering draws you closer to each other. Whether you whisper sweet nothings or let her know you are ready to leave, whispering allows you to share something only between the two of you.

Intimate Dating Tip #2
Choose a Booth

When you are out on the town sit at a booth instead of a table. They are more enclosed and provide a more intimate atmosphere. Try sitting on the same side so you are closer to each other and it is easier to be affectionate.More…

Intimate Dating Tip #3
Wink

If you end up at opposite ends of the room, lock eyes and send a wink. She will know that you were watching her, probably thinking about her, and a wink will make her feel sexy. Double that with a smile for extra effect and she may just melt.

Intimate Dating Tip #4
Footsie

As old as the ages, footsie is another way to express intimacy in public. Footsie generally involves shoe being off and couples touching each other with their feet. This works best if you are sitting across the table from each other. The cardinal rule regarding footsie, make sure you are touching your date’s feet and not someone else’s.

Intimate Dating Tip #5
Share a Drink or Meal

Just like the good old days when couples shared a shake at the local diner, sharing is a sign of intimacy. Grab two straws for your iced frappuccino and enjoy. Enjoying your selection at the same time could make for some romantic eye locking or Eskimo kisses. I think we all remember what happened in Lady and the Tramp when they shared a bowl of spaghetti…. Spread the romance thick and share with each other.

Intimate Dating Tip #6
Hold Hands

Holding hands indicates that you are together. If you are having a secret romance or are with a large group, hold hands under the table. This small act speaks volumes.

Intimate Dating Tip #7
Feed Each Other

Eating finger foods is sure way to be intimate while dating. Hand feed him one of your cheesy fries, give her a bite of your super nachos. People who are intimate with each other generally share their food and occasionally hand feed it to each other. Be careful though, a gesture as simple as this can get overdone. Make sure you don’t feed each other throughout your whole meal, you may make everyone around you sick.

Romantic Gestures Matter

March 14th, 2008

Romance is easy. Especially when you consider that it is the little romantic gestures, every day that make the big difference. Women are relationship driven, when men are sexually driven. Small romantic gestures should be tailored to your lover, considering their gender. Little romantic gestures are important for several reasons.

Together
Small romantic gestures keep your love alive. In a world where things are always going wrong and it’s hard to depend on anyone, you know you can rely on each other. A romantic gesture says “I love you, enjoy our time together, and we’ll make it through”. Those small acts help us get through each day together. When you get to the end of the day, leave the disappointments behind, because your lover is waiting.

Affirmation
Reaffirm your love with small acts. Love is like a campfire. One night there are huge flames of passion, the next night it’s dark and cold. Avoid putting the fire out. Fuel the ambers with small romantic acts. It will be a lot easier to feed the fire than build it again. Providing steady romantic gestures makes your relationship more stable and keeps the flames of love alive longer. Read the rest of this entry »
