Often couples get into a routine and end up staying in doing the same things day after day and night after night. Staying in can get monotonous, but you don’t always need to go out to have a good time. We have compiled a list of ways to stay in and have an exciting date. Enjoy!

1. Ethnic Dinner
Pick a country that you are curious about, do some research on its traditions and culture, pick some of their classic recipes and set off to get the ingredients. Enjoy creating new dishes together and having a culture enlightening experience.

2. 20 Questions
Learn more about each other by making a list of 20 questions to ask each other. Put each question on its own small piece of paper and put all 20 in a bowl. Take turns pulling a question out of one another’s bowl and answer it. This is meant to be fun and enlightening; not accusing and probing, so choose your questions carefully. Each person has one chance to pass over a question. Have fun getting to know each other even better.

3. Home Spa Session
The Internet has pages and pages of homemade scrubs and beauty treatments. Plus, she’s sure to have sample sizes that are waiting to be used. Soak, scrub and moisturize those feet with an at home spa treatment. Massage one another’s back, neck and scalp. Treat each other to some R&R, while enjoying some physical touch and quality time.

4. Rearrange Your Space
Change the mood by trying a new set-up. Pick a room and make a plan. Try something crazy. If you don’t like it you can push things back to the same old spot. Be prepared to do a little deep cleaning in the process. When you finish you’ll feel like you’re in a whole different place. Try it out by watching a movie or playing a board game.
